The Things They Forgot To Tell You

the things they forgot to tell you
out of kindness
will find you out

though you have hid yourself behind
the thousand words for invisible
the colors of an infinite palette

like telegrams they will arrive
at precisely the blindsiding moment
and of course, you will be at home

and happy in the day
when spring turns instantly to ice
the entire castle going under

going under you say to yourself
making friends with the clouds too late
goodbye to the drifting, drifting away

as it begins to thunder in Heaven
