What Matters

we were looking at the bridesmaid clouds
they were in all the pastels, remember
then the bridal sky

white and gold
it began to rain lilies
and we elaborated

on the romantic themes in music
or the ballet.
always the same colours

the flower made scores
the embelisshments
in the lavender dusk

and it must be in rose you say
every time
the pas de deux since its

always the fading away
and the aftermirage.
is what matters.
