resurrected!
and the Rose reborn
where it had been most torn
and the blank trees with the sheen
of pale and paler green
and the soft skies beginning to bloom
in the colours of all flowers to resume,
resurrected!
beyond the winter's intent
to render the sun a silver flint
and our fairy tale hearts to stone
the easter bells slicing through
the frozen worlds we knew
and barely inhabited
april, strewing with violets
again, the ancient rhymes.
reborn, reborn in Time.
