already yesterday's champions on the news
struggle to find what to say and what to do
glory is fleeting is such a timeless cliche
no one will ever remember it today
hooray and hooray again
that's the basic way to win
to live for the moment
and watch it drift away
just dreaming of when it was only
just today.
