we too must have our bethels, our bethesda pools
our covenants with the Most High and our angel visitations
surely God will speak to us as well
in the wind and the fire
or counter the waves, diverting them from our destruction.
the smallest child has His ear
He said forbid them not He so regards the lilies of the field
the sparrows fallen out of human sight
should we not also abide like King David
under His soothing wings
nor fear the chasms opening up
below our feet, the mountains displaced
into the sea
and cry aloud in desert times
and also be heard with angelic speed
and healed with the balm
he made for us
he made for us
alone. forseeing it all.
