it's citron and nutmeg and orange peel they say
Miss Havisham's cake on her special day
with marzipan rosettes and raspberry cream
on alternate layers
a sight to be seen
to eat with fresh cordial
on bright crystal plates
I'm ready to dig in
oh boy! I can't wait
too bad for the spiders and ghosts on the prowl
and then I get called on, and my stomach growls.
