Christ have mercy on all I see
Christ the upward spiral be
the Sun of suns
the Light of lights
our solace in the starwept nights
our solace in the wavering clouds
the thunderburst rains
the scalding out loud
the beating with words
the dubious lease
oh Christ from all scolding
us release.
