noting what you need to know
the angels write it down on a scroll:
what you need to pack for the lightest of journeys.
not exactly like the list for summer camp.
no mosquito spray, no camp bandanas
no shorts and tops. but lots of frocks.
no summer socks.
summer music, maybe.
a few fireflies to light your way.
clouds for shade.
and lemonade or lime will do.
beading the pitcher like jeweled dew.
binoculars for the View
from Heaven to earth.
a few slips from the rose bush.
