YOU CAN'T REMEMBER SOMEONE ELSE'S MEMORIES

YOU CAN'T REMEMBER SOMEONE ELSE'S MEMORIES

You cant remember someone else's memories

I tried to tell them in Wonderland

Of course they disputed me

It was their business to do so

It was state craft I was told

If I grow old or older

Still rust will not turn into gold

Of someone else's saying

They were there and you never were-

Anywhere

Let us not become their blurring

of our edges

I whisper to those

Who in deep twilight sleep

And by no ties that bind

Were bereft of all roses.

Once upon a time.
