I Dreamed Of Nesting Houses In All Colours

I dreamed of nesting houses in all colours
oh this is greater than nesting dolls we cried
excitedly, my sister and I

overcome by such a Christmas.
and each one with darling curtains
discreet little rugs

little corner tables
with decorative lamps
until, even postage stamped

the cherry on top:you bet
the mint green bookroom
and every volume read.
