thinking in slow motion there is time
for the coloured skeins to unwind
for the rainbowed ripple to extend
to farthest shores.
dreaming in slow motion
will you cease to wake
and keep on dreaming
and then the landscapes shift
and the crayoned stars come out
and the worlds are animated
and you hear the alarm clock ringing
and the muffled tread of your cat
about to pounce
on the what happens then?
scratching at the door of the castle
just as you wer about to go in...
