THE RIDDLE

where have you come from where are you going

are you knowing the things you should be knowing

is it a daytrip or one moment in the sun

that tells you where your life has run

can you see it disappear

or is it shining year to year

open the box and see what's in it

everything golden in a minute

in such a nutshell

you may begin to hear the music of the wind

to hear the music of the sea

to whisper and whisper:

eternity.
